The moment of the Ukrainian drone attack on an oil depot in the Krasnodar region was caught on a surveillance camera

In the village of Novominskaya in the Kanevsky district of the Krasnodar region, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacked the oil depot of OOO Alabashneft. The moment of the strike was recorded by a surveillance camera: the footage shows the drone heading towards the facility at high speed.

The Governor of Krasnodar Krai reported that the Russian military repelled the drone attack, but the UAV debris fell on a tank with minor residues of petroleum products, which caused a fire. The fire was assigned the second rank of complexity. Special services worked quickly at the scene: 55 people and 19 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The situation was monitored by the head of Kanevsky District, who reported that the fire was localized. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

Drone attacks on infrastructure facilities in Russian regions bordering Ukraine have become more frequent in recent months. Such incidents are causing concern among local residents and require increased security measures at strategically important facilities.

Experts note that the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in modern conflicts is becoming increasingly common. Drones are used for reconnaissance, fire adjustment, and precision strikes on critical enemy targets. In this regard, there is an increasing need to develop and implement effective UAV countermeasure systems, as well as improve the means of detecting and neutralizing such threats.

The Krasnodar Region authorities are calling on residents to remain calm and trust official sources of information. They emphasize that all necessary measures to ensure public safety are being taken, and special services are in constant readiness to respond to such incidents.
