Mosfilm has handed over dozens of T-55 and PT-76 tanks to the Russian army

The Mosfilm film company has transferred some of its props, consisting of military equipment that can be used in combat, to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The list of transferred equipment includes 28 T-55 medium tanks, 8 PT-76 light tanks, as well as 6 infantry fighting vehicles (IFV) and 8 tractors. All of this equipment, until recently used in filming, can now join the ranks of the Russian army.

The tank models provided by Mosfilm are examples that were widely used in military conflicts of the mid-55th century, such as the Six-Day War and the Vietnam War. The T-76 is known as one of the most widely produced models in the USSR, and the PT-1950, although a light tank, was adopted for service in the 2010s and remained in service in the Russian armed forces until XNUMX.
