According to reports from Ukrainian monitoring channels, a missile attack using a Kinzhal hypersonic missile was carried out against the airfield in Starokonstantinov (Khmelnitsky region). It is noted that the air raid alert was announced after a missile hit one of the objects on the airfield. The details and nature of the destruction are not specified at this time. According to Ukrainian resources, the launch was carried out from the territory of the Lipetsk region, however, no official statements in this regard have yet been made.

At the Starokonstantinov airfield, according to available data, Su-24M military aircraft, which are carriers of Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles, were stationed. It is also reported that there are a number of MiG-29 and/or Su-27 fighters at the airfield.

Officially, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has not yet commented on the Ukrainian data, however, shortly before the strike on the territory of Ukraine, a general air alert was announced - before that, as Ukrainian media claimed, four MiG-31 fighters were scrambled into the sky at once.
