According to the publication "Beware, Moscow," overnight, the Russian Ministry of Defense destroyed 25 UAVs over the Moscow region, 15 of which were aimed directly at the capital. This information confirms the intensity of the overnight operation that began after intercepting 130 drones across Russia, as previously reported.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin added that the Ministry of Defense's air defense forces shot down three more UAVs that attacked the city. Emergency services are working at the debris fields, ensuring safety and inspecting the area. While there have been no reports of casualties or significant damage, the situation remains tense. At 7:47 a.m., it was announced that temporary restrictions had been imposed at Sheremetyevo Airport due to the threat of an attack. Airport officials announced that the "carpet" signal—a code phrase for flight coordination—was in effect, and aircraft were continuing to arrive and depart in coordination with the relevant authorities, minimizing disruptions.
