This opinion was expressed by Russian military expert Viktor Murakhovsky, noting that such weapons are effective against modern tanks.

“Any modern main tank, be it the American Abrams or the Russian T-90M, can be hit on the battlefield by a variety of means, from mines and obsolete anti-tank hand grenades and hand grenade launchers, to modern anti-tank missile systems and air missiles”- declared Murakhovsky.

The statement of the Russian military specialist was clearly called into question, especially regarding how the latter proposed the use of hand-held anti-tank grenades. This is due to the fact that in order to throw such a grenade, a tank needs to approach a distance of only a few tens of meters, and for obvious reasons, these combat units will not operate at such a distance. Moreover, the practice of using hand-held anti-tank grenades, some types of anti-tank systems, as well as RPGs, indicates that they turned out to be ineffective against Challenger 2 and M1 Abrams tanks, while Russian T-90M tanks and weapons will be the most effective means of destruction. military aviation.

As for the use of modern Russian Marker combat robots against Western tanks, so far experts cannot comment on the use of these weapons, since the latter has not been used in real battles.
