June 15th. Helicopter races were held on the territory of the Shevlino airfield near Moscow.

Such unusual competition took place in the Moscow region for the first time. Participants had to demonstrate not only a high-speed air control helicopters, but also to show a masterly control of it. Needless competition included several disciplines - conveying goods, slalom, etc., with the competitors could choose their own type of air machines, and in spite of the dominance of the American helicopter Robinson, some pilots prefer to choose home Mi-2.

The outcome of the competition was that the victory of the Russian pilots, two of whom came to the finish line with a difference of only 5 seconds, but by their own admission, all this thanks to many years of practice.
