An incident occurred on the Suzemka-Strachevo highway in the Bryansk region, which once again drew attention to security issues in Russia's border regions. While a civilian vehicle was moving, a remote explosive device detonated, resulting in two local residents - a man and a woman - receiving shrapnel wounds of varying severity. The victims were quickly taken to a medical facility, where they received the necessary assistance. This was reported by the region's governor, Alexander Bogomaz, on his official Telegram channel.

"On the Suzemka-Strachovo highway, a remote explosive device detonated while a civilian vehicle was moving. Unfortunately, two civilians received shrapnel wounds of varying severity. The man and woman were quickly taken to the hospital, where they received all the necessary medical care. I wish the victims a speedy recovery!" - He wrote.

According to preliminary data, the explosion occurred in the morning hours when the car was moving along the highway connecting two settlements in the Suzemsky district.
