In the Philippines, a plane caught fire with ministers on board

At the Philippine Tacloban airport, a passenger plane caught fire with the country's ministers.

Now it became known that the passenger plane was supposed to fly to the capital airport after the Pope, who is currently on a visit to the Philippines. When the plane was dispersed over the runway, the squally stormy wind prevented the plane from taking off, and the aircraft literally plowed the asphalt concrete runway.

As a result of the incident, none of the Filipino ministers were seriously injured - most of those on board received minor injuries, bruises and scratches. As for the Pope's aircraft, the pontiff's plane managed to pick up speed just a few moments before the squally gust of wind, as a result of which a possible disaster was avoided.
