The 35th Garrison Military Court has arrested a serviceman suspected of an armed attack on three fellow soldiers, which left two dead and a third wounded. This was reported on the court's website.

According to investigators, the incident occurred at a temporary deployment site for one of the units. The suspect, under false pretenses, threw a live grenade at three fellow soldiers and then opened fire with an automatic weapon. Two soldiers died at the scene, and another suffered gunshot wounds to the legs.

After the attack, the suspect fled with the weapon, but was located by military police later that day. During an attempted arrest, he fired at a law enforcement officer, who in turn fired his weapon, wounding the perpetrator and detaining him. The injured military police officer was injured, but his life is not in danger.
