Kyiv has been subjected to a massive drone attack.

Kyiv was subjected to a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Shahed/Geran type. According to the military administration, this was the largest operation using drones carried out against the Ukrainian capital since the beginning of the special operation.

The attack on Kyiv was carried out from the southern and eastern directions and was carried out in several waves. The air raid lasted more than 6 hours. The first signal of danger sounded at midnight, at 00:08, and only at 06:22 was the all-clear announced.

Due to the severity of the threat, an alarm was announced almost throughout the country. It is noted that a hit was also recorded in the Zhytomyr region. In Kyiv, residents reported a strange phenomenon similar to an earthquake, however, at the moment its nature is not specified.

Military propaganda reports that more than 40 drones were shot down. At the same time, it became known about the presence of casualties and destruction in different districts of Kyiv as a result of the fall of the wreckage of downed UAVs.
