Residents of the Kherson and Nikolaev regions report explosions on the Kinburn Peninsula.

Information about exactly where the explosions occurred is still very vague - according to some sources, they occurred directly on the Kinburn Spit, while, according to others, directly on the Kinburn Peninsula itself. This feature is very important, since the Kinburn Spit is the actual border between the Nikolaev and Kherson regions.

In a photograph published by residents of the Mykolaiv region, you can see two powerful outbreaks, the nature of which remains unknown. Taking into account the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had previously planned to carry out an amphibious landing on the peninsula, we can talk about the sinking of ships and other floating facilities, however, at the same time, we can talk about strikes on the Kinburn Peninsula by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the latter is located in the zone destruction of Ukrainian weapons.

A little earlier, experts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were developing a plan for landing on the Kinburn Peninsula, which, in turn, after the explosions that occurred in this area, is of serious concern.
