The explosion on the outskirts of Donetsk occurred due to the detonation of an expired British NLAW ATGM.

Hours ago Residents of Donetsk announced a powerful explosionwhich could be heard throughout the western part of the city. As it turned out, the explosion occurred at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Moreover, the spontaneously detonated British NLAW anti-tank missile system from among the weapons that were delivered to the Armed Forces a few weeks ago was to blame for everything. The cause of the explosion could be expired weapons, which needed to be written off.

At the moment, it is known for certain that the explosion occurred at one of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the west of Donetsk. There are currently no data on the destruction, as well as the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not comment on the situation.
