As a result of the crash of a military aircraft in northern Colombia, 11 people were killed.

The military transport plane crashed in 600 kilometers from Bogota, while all 11 people including crew members on board the aircraft were officially declared dead.

At the moment the Avia.pro information portal does not have official versions of what happened, however, according to some sources, a technical malfunction of one of the engines of the military transport plane Casa 235 could become the cause. Initially, local media reported that during the flight the plane exploded, but later these data were officially denied, including the president of the country.

According to some reports, high-ranking officers were on board the aircraft, who were traveling from Bogota to one of the units in the north of Colombia to review the exercises.
