The authorities of Moldova announced the fall of rocket fragments on the territory of the republic.

This afternoon, fragments of a cruise missile shot down by Ukrainian air defense systems fell on the territory of Moldova. Information on this subject was voiced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, announcing that a cruise missile fell in the village of Naslavcha, bordering Ukraine, on the Moldovan bank of the Dniester.

In photographs and video frames, you can see the moment of the crash of a cruise missile on the territory of Moldova. The circumstances of this are currently being investigated, however, sources note that no one was injured as a result of the incident. However, this is the first time that such an incident has taken place. Judging by the column of smoke rising from the crash site of the cruise missile, there was also a fairly serious explosion, although the Moldovan authorities do not provide any details on this.

It is noted that in the near future the Moldovan authorities intend to conduct an investigation in order to clarify all the circumstances of the incident, although it is noted that the radar did not record the moment the Russian missile entered the airspace of Moldova. This may indicate that after intercepting the missile in the airspace of Ukraine, it was thrown back to the territory of Moldova.
