On November 1, the German airline Germanwings announced the termination of flights to Russia. The last flight from Stuttgart and Cologne will be operated on January 15, after this date it will be impossible to buy a ticket for a flight from Germany to Russia. Having worked in the Russian market for 8 years, Germanwings decided to wind up its business in Russia.

"Only flights from Berlin to Moscow will be saved," the press secretary of the company said.

According to the airline's secretary, flights from Berlin to Moscow will remain, however, no flight options between the cities could be found on the website.

Earlier, there were 6 flights per week to Vnukovo Airport from Berlin and Cologne, Moscow-Hanover and Moscow-Hamburg flights.
