In Ukraine, the restoration of the legendary An-225 Mriya aircraft has begun.

Despite the fact that the An-225 Mriya, the world's largest military transport aircraft, received critical damage as a result of the MLRS strike, Ukrainian specialists and the military began work related to the restoration of this side. The corresponding video frames were published from the Antonov International Airport in Gostomel.

The video footage shows how the armored personnel carrier separates the destroyed nose of the aircraft from the remaining fuselage - judging by the damage received, this part of the aircraft can no longer be restored. Nevertheless, the lagging part of the Mriya, although it is damaged, can still be restored, in any case, experts say so.

A little earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that in the near future it is planned to build another An-225 Mriya aircraft. At the same time, there is evidence that both China and Turkey are showing interest in building another unique aircraft. Nevertheless, judging by the estimates of experts, the construction of the aircraft will require about 800 million dollars, however, the restoration of a damaged board may take less time and less financial costs.
