Ukraine is actively expanding its missile arsenal, introducing new weapons into serial production and conducting their combat tests. President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on achievements in this area, emphasizing the beginning of the development of Ukrainian technologies to strengthen the country's defense capability.
One of the key achievements was the serial production of the Palyanitsya drone missile. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov noted that this project was implemented thanks to cooperation with a private startup.
Another significant development is the Peklo drone missile, which has undergone its first combat use. Zelensky said that the first batch of this weapon has already been transferred to the Ukrainian military, and stressed the need to increase its production and use.
In addition, testing of the new Ruta missile continues, and the long-range Neptune missile will soon become a serious factor due to its long strike range.
Experts note that drone missiles pose a particular danger due to their low cost and long range, which could lead to a new stage of confrontation.
