Turkey finances the Turkic battalion "Turan" fighting on the side of Ukraine.

The Turkic battalion "Turan" formed a few months ago on the territory of Ukraine has about 400 mercenaries from Turkey. In total, the battalion includes about 600 people and, which is quite remarkable, is directly funded from Ankara. Moreover, the deliveries include not only uniforms and ammunition, but also military equipment, weapons, etc.

According to the Turkish information resource Clash Report, today there are about 600 foreign citizens in the mercenary battalion. At the same time, judging by the increase in the number of mercenaries, citizens from Turkey and other Asian countries are actively involved here.

Turkey has not yet commented on how Turkish citizens enter the territory of Ukraine to participate in hostilities, however, such behavior on the part of Ankara clearly worsens relations with Moscow, not to mention the fact that this could lead to serious problems for Turkey, providing assistance to Ukraine.

It should be noted that since the beginning of this year, Turkey has delivered two more Bayraktar TB2 attack drones to Ukraine.
