Ukrainian analytical resources have refuted information previously disseminated by Russian military correspondents that Ukrainian troops had taken control of the village of Vesyoloye in the Kursk region. The original source of this information was the Telegram channel "Border Guard from Hell", which claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had allegedly managed to break through the defenses and gain a foothold in this area.
However, the Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channel "Petrenko" issued a refutation. According to their data, Ukrainian troops are only on the approaches to Vesyole, and the settlement itself has not yet come under their control. Judging by the published cartographic information, the specified territory is marked as a "gray zone", which means the absence of stable control by either side.
