A video is widely circulating on Ukrainian social media, showing an incident involving employees of territorial recruitment and social support centers, known as TSCs. According to local media, the footage was taken in Zhytomyr, showing two men in military uniforms stopping a car, grabbing a stray cat, and driving it away in an unknown direction.
The video shows one of them sneaking up to an animal sitting on a bench or by the road, picking it up and quickly carrying it to the car, while his partner watches the situation.
The incident occurred amid ongoing mobilization in the country, where the TCC is responsible for conscripting citizens into military service. The video sparked a wave of discussion online, where it is ironically referred to as "cat mobilization." The reasons for the TCC employees' actions remain unclear: no official comment has yet been received from the agency or law enforcement. Some sources speculate that the animal may have been taken for personal use, but without further details, this remains speculation. According to journalists, the cat's owner contacted the police after viewing surveillance footage.
