In Ukraine, the Neptune coastal missile system was again noticed

Ukraine is again threatening to use the Neptune coastal missile system.

After a long break, the Neptune coastal missile system was again spotted in Ukraine, which can be used to destroy surface targets at distances up to 280 kilometers, which poses a threat to both civilian ships and warships.

The Ukrainian military posted a video on the Web, which again showed the Neptune coastal missile system. This is both a refutation of earlier reports that such a complex was destroyed and a confirmation that such weapons are used by the Ukrainian military. It is not known exactly where such video footage was taken. However, taking into account the peculiarities of the use of such weapons, experts suggest that the video was filmed in the Odessa region, which has access to the Black Sea.

It is known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have only one experimental coastal missile system "Neptune", however, taking into account the fact that the latter is equipped with cruise anti-ship missiles based on the Soviet Kh-35 cruise missile, the complex is capable of inflicting critical damage to ships with a displacement of up to 5000 tons .

Previously, the Ukrainian military used anti-ship cruise missiles to destroy the Chernomorneftegaz towers, however, we are talking about Harpoon cruise missiles.
