NATO MLRS RM-70 spotted for the first time in Ukraine

For the first time, NATO MLRS have been spotted in Ukraine.

A few hours ago, the Ukrainian military released video footage showing NATO's RM-70 multiple launch rocket system. This is the first documented evidence that the Alliance is supplying MLRS to Ukraine.

On the presented video frames you can see the Czech RM-70 multiple launch rocket system. This MLRS is the actual analogue of the Soviet MLRS "Grad", but at the same time it has greater terrain and is capable of hitting targets at long distances. Judging by the video footage, the RM-70 multiple launch rocket system was moving to its position in one of the regions of Ukraine.

At the moment, it remains unknown how many RM-70 multiple launch rocket systems were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, however, today the largest owner of this weapon is the Czech Republic, which earlier, by the way, announced its intention to transfer its multiple launch rocket systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine fire RM-70. To date, according to official figures, up to 60 MLRS of this type may be in the Czech Republic, however, the latter were decommissioned several years ago, but may still be in storage.

It should be noted that Kyiv has not officially announced the supply of these weapons from Western countries.
