In the west of Uman, a warehouse with ammunition for 50 Himars MLRS was destroyed

To the west of Uman, a warehouse with 50 ammunition for the Himars MLRS was destroyed.

The warehouse, which stored about 300 GMLRS ammunition for Himars multiple launch rocket systems, was destroyed as a result of a precision strike by the Russian military, as previously reported by representatives of the country's defense department. As it turned out, the latter was located in a building located to the west of Uman, near the settlement of Palanka. Due to the proximity of the railway, the warehouse was constantly replenished with ammunition supplied from the United States, however, due to a high-precision strike, it was successfully destroyed. According to the Military Maps resource, the location of the destroyed warehouse has been precisely established.

“The exact location of the US HIMARS MLRS missile depot, which was destroyed by a missile strike of the Russian Aerospace Forces on August 9, has become known. The warehouse, which, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, contained more than three hundred rockets for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, as well as a large amount of ammunition for American M777 howitzers, was located in this building, on the outskirts of the settlement. Palanka near the city of Uman"- said in the message.

At the moment, it was not possible to verify the accuracy of the information provided by the information resource, since the satellites did not record any damage due to high cloudiness in the region. Nevertheless, the destruction of such a large warehouse with missiles for the Himars MLRS is evidence that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are starting to have serious problems with a shortage of ammunition for these weapons.
