A Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down on the territory of the Luhansk region.

Residents of the Luhansk region report that a Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down in the region. There is no concrete confirmation of this yet, however, a photograph has been published with a downed, allegedly combat aircraft, hit by a portable anti-aircraft missile system.

In the presented photo you can see the first moments after the plane crash and a column of black smoke. Due to the remoteness of the crash site, it has not yet been possible to establish the type of aircraft for certain, while there is no information about the ejection of the crew of the combat aircraft.

The sources who published this photo claim that the incident took place in the western part of the Lugansk region. At the same time, judging by the photograph, the attack aircraft pilot tried to land the wrecked car on the ground, but, in all likelihood, the damage turned out to be very serious, as a result of which the attack aircraft fell. It is noted that the attack aircraft flew from the western direction, i.e., from the territory controlled by the Ukrainian military, however, the ownership of the downed combat aircraft has not yet been established, while no official statements have yet been made in this regard.
