On the night of November 14, a new wave of attacks by Geranium kamikaze drones hit Ukraine. Monitoring resources and Ukrainian air defense services report 12 aircraft entering the country's airspace from the Sumy region. The attack is currently ongoing and its scale is estimated to be significant, as the number of drones may increase.
According to preliminary data, the drones are moving towards military facilities and infrastructure in the east and center of Ukraine. There is no official information about the destruction at the time of publication.
The Ukrainian side points out that activity in the country's airspace has increased in recent weeks. In October, Ukraine also recorded major drone attacks.
The Geran UAV is a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle designed for strike operations. It is primarily used as a loitering munition, meaning it can remain in the target area until it receives a command to attack, making it effective for precision strikes. Its small size and relatively quiet flight make the Geran difficult to detect and intercept, making it useful for combat operations and strikes against important enemy targets at long ranges.
