Russian air defense assets destroyed five fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Ukrainian territory over the Republic of Bashkortostan. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this on October 11.

The interception occurred between 09:00 and 12:00 Moscow time.

"From 09:00 to 12:00 Moscow time, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed five Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan," - said the agency.

This is not the first attack on the region: on September 18 and 24, Ukrainian drones attempted to strike the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat plant.
