Ukrainian air defense systems shot down X-type cruise missiles on the outskirts of the Dnieper.

Tonight, X-type strategic cruise missiles were intercepted near the Dnieper (Dnepropetrovsk). The type of missiles could not be established for certain, however, residents of the outskirts of the city published videos showing the interception of several strategic-type missiles at low altitude.

On the presented video frames, you can see the moment of operation of Ukrainian air defense systems. Judging by the launch range of anti-aircraft guided missiles, the interception was carried out by short-range air defense systems, presumably by Buk complexes. Video footage shows a missile fired by the Ukrainian military successfully intercepting an X-type strategic cruise missile, the wreckage of which was subsequently recovered by local residents. The interception was carried out at a low altitude, obviously, already with the direct entry of the cruise missile on the target.

To date, there is a fairly large number of X-type strategic cruise missiles, in particular, we are talking about a series of Kh-22, Kh-55, Kh-101 missiles, etc., in connection with which it is reliable to determine which of the missiles was destroyed by means of Air defense is not possible.
