An unidentified aircraft was shot down west of Donetsk.

Today's night confrontation between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the militia of the Donetsk People's Republic was also carried out with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles by the Ukrainian side, as it was the day before. However, it is known that an unknown aircraft, presumably a drone, was shot down in the western part of the capital of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.

Residents of Donetsk report that as a result of dense fire from the DPR units, an unknown object was shot down. Taking into account the fact that a day earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used three Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles over the Donbas at once, the latter could well have been destroyed by the fire of the DPR air defense.

However, experts draw attention to the fact that in addition to the Bayraktar TB2 drones, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively using other drones that drop ammunition on the positions of the militias and, judging by the features of the drone’s explosion, we can very well talk about such a drone.

“Given the image, it can be assumed that the ammunition detonated, but it is very unlikely that we are talking about Bayraktar - with its size, the explosion would be much larger, not to mention the fact that the ammunition of such shock drones has a much greater explosion power”, - the expert marks.

At the moment, there are no official details regarding the destruction of the drone in the sky over Donetsk.
