A Chinese hypersonic missile flew over the capital of Taiwan

A PLA hypersonic missile flew over the center of Taiwan's Taipei.

Residents of Taipei report that an unknown rocket flew over the central part of the city. The flight of the latter was accompanied by a strong bang, in connection with which assumptions were initially made about the defense system that worked. Nevertheless, as it turned out, we are talking about the Chinese DF-15 hypersonic missile, which has already become the fifth one launched in less than a day in the direction of the island.

Information about the launch of a Chinese hypersonic missile on this route was announced by the PLA military. At the same time, as it turned out, we are talking about a relatively slow DF-15 rocket, which develops a maximum speed of up to MAX 6, while the PRC is armed with much faster missiles capable of reaching speeds up to MAX 21-27.

Based on the scheme presented by the Chinese media, the rocket flew exactly over the center of Taipei, while Beijing did not make any explanations on this matter, noting that we were talking about exercises.

It is noteworthy that against the background of rocket launches, the warning system did not work in Taipei. This indicates that Taiwan is completely unprepared for any kind of confrontation with China.

Over the past 24 hours, China has already launched 5 hypersonic missiles at targets in the Taiwan Strait, and the number is expected to increase.
