Incident over South Texas: Two US Navy aircraft collided in the air.

Two T-11C Goshawk warplanes collided over southern Texas at 45 a.m. They belonged to the 22nd Training Squadron, which is based at NAS Kingsville.

As a result of the incident, one plane crashed after a cadet and instructor located there safely ejected, and another plane was able to successfully land at the nearby Kingsville Naval Air Base.

The incident was also tweeted by Corpus Christi's chief of naval training. There he reported that one pilot had been taken to hospital with minor injuries. It was also noted that the incident is currently under investigation and that the US Navy is fully cooperating with local authorities.
