NATO invited Russia and China to join forces in the fight against ISIS in Afghanistan

The North Atlantic Alliance has requested assistance from Russia and China in the fight against terrorists in Afghanistan.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg issued a statement in which he asked Russia and China to join forces with the North Atlantic Alliance to eliminate terrorists in Afghanistan. We are talking about the terrorist group "Islamic State" ("ISIS", banned in Russia - editor's note).

"I fully support the idea that the entire international community, including Russia and China, should make efforts to ensure that Afghanistan does not become a region where terrorist groups can freely operate, organizing, planning and financing attacks in our countries."- said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

The Russian and Chinese sides have not yet responded to Stoltenberg's statement. Experts note that no action on the territory of this country will be taken without an official request from Afghanistan, since it became known earlier that Moscow and Beijing did not intend to spoil relations with the Taliban (a terrorist movement banned in Russia - approx. ed.).

Among other things, the reason for the appearance of several thousand ISIS terrorists in Afghanistan was the withdrawal of the international coalition from this country and the Taliban who seized power in the country freed the terrorists of the Islamic State.
