NATO steps up support for Ukraine to continue fighting

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has confirmed that NATO plans to provide Ukraine with large-scale military and financial assistance to ensure that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have the resources to continue fighting until 2025. After meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Brussels, Blinken said that one of the alliance's key goals is to support Ukraine in such a way that it can continue to effectively resist or, if necessary, enter the negotiation process from a position of strength.

"The purpose of this visit is to focus our efforts on making sure that Ukraine has the money, ammunition and mobilized forces to effectively fight in 2025," Blinken emphasized.
