NATO will use 18 warships in the largest exercises near the Crimean peninsula

The largest NATO naval exercises will be held near Crimea.

One of the largest NATO naval exercises started near the southwestern borders of the Crimean peninsula, in which, reportedly, 18 NATO warships are taking part, including frigates, missile cruisers and missile destroyers. This is one of the first large-scale military exercises of NATO over the past 10 years near the Crimean peninsula, which, a number of Western experts have already called a challenge to Russia.

According to the information provided by the "Operative Line" Telegram channel, such countries as Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Spain, the United States, etc., take part in the Sea Shield 2021 exercises, while it is known that the maneuvers are very unusual in nature - they were started without a general gathering of all participants, in particular, at the moment, American warships are only arriving at the site of the maneuvers. Moreover, at least 10 military aircraft are also taking part in the exercises.

“From March 19 to March 29, the Sea Shield 2021 exercise is being held off the coast of Romania and the adjacent waters of the Black Sea, which involved about 2400 personnel, 18 shipboard pennants and 10 combat aircraft from Romania, Turkey, Bulgaria, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands and Poland ", - reports "Telegram" -channel "operational line".

Experts do not rule out. that in response to the start of large-scale military maneuvers, Russia intends to conduct its own exercises in the coming days, which will demonstrate to the North Atlantic Alliance Russia's readiness to contain even a serious threat at its borders.

What exactly is planned to be worked out within the framework of military exercises is not reported, however, most likely, they are aimed at an attempt to contain Russia in the Black Sea region.

Probably our admirals / generals foresaw this reaction. And if not, you need to drive them in the neck!
