Named tactical nuclear weapons that Russia can place on the territory of Belarus

It has been established which nuclear weapons will be located in Belarus and where they will be stored.

Against the backdrop of the Russian President's statement that tactical nuclear weapons would be deployed on the territory of neighboring Belarus, which is a response to the supply of depleted uranium ammunition to Ukraine, experts found out what specific tactical nuclear weapons they could be talking about and even established the most likely location for their deployment. .

According to experts, against the background of the fact that we are talking about tactical nuclear weapons, it is more than obvious that this includes nuclear warheads for the Iskander and Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems, which have recently appeared in the arsenal of Belarus . Taking into account data from open sources, the yield of a single nuclear warhead can reach 50 kilotons, which could well cause very serious damage during the strike. In all likelihood, we can also talk about the transfer of aviation missiles equipped with a nuclear warhead to Belarus, however, given the absence of large carrier aircraft in Belarus, it is more than likely that only Su-25 attack aircraft can be equipped with such missiles.

Nevertheless, the Belarusian information resources, presumably, have also identified a probable place for storing tactical nuclear weapons - with a high degree of probability it will be located at a military facility of the former 369th missile regiment. Until recently, the infrastructure here was in an unusable state, however, sources report that some work has been carried out here over the past year. The military unit of the former 369th missile regiment is located on the territory of the settlement. Cheretyanka in the Zhitkovichi district of the Gomel region, about 60 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. At the same time, it is known that the Iskander OTRK, which entered service with Belarus, is deployed on the territory of the Osipovichi district of the Mogilev region, which does not exclude the possibility that the storage of tactical nuclear weapons may be located here.
