An oil depot in the Voronezh region was attacked by three drones at once

An attack on an oil refinery in the Voronezh Region involved three drones. According to Baza, citing eyewitnesses, all three drones fell on the plant's territory with a minimal time difference. As a result of the incident, a powerful fire broke out at the facility, and emergency services were sent to extinguish it.

According to official data, fragments of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were found on the territory of the oil refinery. Although the cause of the fire is still being clarified, it has been preliminarily established that a drone attack was its source. The intensity of the fire attracted the attention of local residents, who noted that the flames were visible at a considerable distance from the facility.

Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Gusev reported that firefighters and emergency services specialists are currently working at the site. The main efforts are focused on localizing the fire to prevent it from spreading to neighboring facilities. The authorities also assured that there is no threat to the local population.

The incident is yet another example of drones being used to attack critical infrastructure in Russia's border regions. Oil depots and refineries remain one of the main targets, as damaging them can cause significant economic and logistical damage.
