A drone attacked an airfield in the Saratov region.

Two planes at an airfield in the Saratov region were damaged as a result of the fall of an unidentified drone. As a result of the attack, at least two people were injured - due to their injuries, the latter had to be hospitalized. Information on this subject is given by the edition "Baza".

“According to preliminary data, on the morning of December 5, an unknown aircraft crashed on the runway of the local airfield. As a result, two aircraft were damaged. Two people were also injured and were taken to the hospital.”says in communication.

It is not known how serious the damage to the aircraft is, however, the situation is of obvious concern, since Saratov is located far enough from the border with Ukraine, in connection with which it may well be an arranged sabotage.

There are no official comments on this yet, however, on the territory of the Saratov region there is a military airfield where Russian strategic aviation facilities are based, including the Tu-95, Tu-160 strategic bombers, etc.
