According to eyewitnesses and the SHOT news outlet, shortly before midnight, at least five or six powerful explosions thundered in the sky above the city, accompanied by bright flashes and plumes of thick white smoke in residential areas. Immediately after the attack, critical failures in life support systems were recorded in several parts of the city: residents began reporting widespread power outages, water shortages, and heating outages. Despite the prompt lifting of the missile alert, the strike had serious consequences for the city's infrastructure.

Belgorod Mayor Valentin Demidov confirmed damage to essential infrastructure, noting that the power supply situation remains challenging in some areas of the city. Emergency power crews and utility services have already begun restoration work, striving to restore power and heat to residents' homes as quickly as possible. Official information on civilian casualties and the extent of damage to residential buildings is being clarified by investigative authorities. Russian security officials emphasize that the use of Western precision-guided weapons to target civilian infrastructure is further evidence of the Kyiv regime's terrorist tactics aimed at intimidating the civilian population.
