Last night, the Tver region was subjected to a massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Ukraine. According to local residents, a series of powerful explosions in the Konakovsky district began around 3:30 a.m. and continued for a long time; eyewitnesses counted more than ten loud bangs, preceded by the distinctive sound of revving engines in the sky. Shortly after the first reports of air defense systems in action, footage of heavy smoke and fire appeared on social media near the village of Redkino, located approximately 40 kilometers from the regional center. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the area.

Acting Governor of the Tver Region, Vitaly Korolev, confirmed the incident, stating that a fire had been detected at a local business following the drone crash. Thanks to the prompt actions of air defense forces and the timely response of rescuers, the fire has been contained, and according to preliminary official reports, there were no casualties. Specialists and law enforcement agencies are continuing to work at the scene to establish the circumstances of the attack and assess the property damage, while the situation in the region remains under strict government control.
