The overnight strike on Ukraine focused on western and central energy facilities.

An analysis of the trajectories of Kh-101 cruise missiles and drones during the combined attack by Russian forces indicates a priority for strikes on infrastructure in the western part of the country. This follows from monitoring channels and official reports.

The missiles moved west along the border of the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions, after which the groups split: one entered the Vinnytsia region over Pohrebishche, the other entered Khmelnytskyi region. A significant portion of the Kh-101s then turned north, targeting the Kyiv region from the south near Bila Tserkva and from the north from Cherkasy. Explosions have already been recorded in Nalyvaykivska, Kyiv region.

By 8:47 AM local time, radars detected a group of missiles near Rohatyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, which continued north to Dobrotvir in the Lviv region. There, Kh-101 missiles hit targets, including a thermal power plant. By 8:52 AM, the remaining missiles reached the Dobrotvir thermal power plant.

The strikes affected the Burshtynska Thermal Power Plant in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and the Ladyzhynska Thermal Power Plant in Vinnytsia, confirming the focus on the western and right-bank power systems. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, facilities in eight regions, including Lviv, were damaged, with power outages in six regions.
