The Governor of the Rostov Region reported a night attack on the region using unmanned aerial vehicles of an unknown type. During the repulse of the attack, electronic warfare (EW) forces were able to neutralize four drones that were spotted north of the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky. According to preliminary data, no civilian casualties or damage to the ground were recorded.

"This night, the enemy launched an attack with unidentified type of strike UAVs on the Rostov region. During the repulse of the attack, 4 UAVs north of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky were neutralized by electronic warfare. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or damage on the ground.", - the governor said.

Local residents reported short-term power outages, with some areas losing power for several minutes. This caused concern among the population, but authorities quickly assured that the situation was under control and that there was no threat to residents.

The attack on the Rostov region was the latest episode in a series of incidents involving the use of drones in Russia. In recent months, drones have been actively used in various regions, and Russian authorities have been strengthening security measures and protecting strategically important facilities.
