The Russian Armed Forces carried out a massive strike on Ukraine's military and energy infrastructure using Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and Geran-3 drones. According to sources, the attack was a response to the Kyiv regime's terrorist attacks against civilian targets in Russia.

Powerful explosions and a bright glow were recorded near the city of Fastiv, a suburb of Kyiv, following the use of drones and missiles. A local railway junction and energy facilities were destroyed. In the Kyiv region, Bila Tserkva and Vyshgorod were attacked by Geran-3 drones. According to eyewitnesses, the strikes hit warehouse areas, where intense flames were observed after the strikes.

Kinzhal missiles struck the area of ​​the Kryvyi Rih Thermal Power Plant, the third-largest thermal power plant in the country. Power outages occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Explosions also occurred near a military airfield in the Khmelnytskyi region, and additional strikes were recorded in Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Poltava, and Odesa regions.
