Turkey's new provocation in Syria? Militants "ask" Russia to bomb their positions in Idlib

The militants launched another provocation against Russia in Syria.

A few hours ago, terrorists, actively supported by Turkey by one of the local groups, carried out another provocation directed against Russia and Syria. Figuratively, the militants are calling on Russia to bomb their positions, realizing that the latter cannot do this because there are certain agreements between Moscow and Turkey, moreover, the provocation was expressed through the undermining of the next overpass on the M4 highway.

According to sources, a few hours ago, in the area of the city of Jisr al-Shugur, a bridge was blown up, along which it was supposed to carry out patrols, which the militants regard as unwillingness to adhere to any agreements at all to create a de-escalation zone in Idlib. According to other sources, the overpass was destroyed with the help of construction equipment, however, at the moment, this means that the passage through this area is actually blocked, and it will take at least a week to restore the overpass.

Official Ankara has not yet commented on the provocation by terrorists, however, experts say that Russia cannot teach a lesson to militants before the end of the ultimatum previously set, the conditions of which, obviously, will not be met by either terrorists or Turkey.

“The actions of terrorists cross all existing red lines.” The militants literally urge Russia to strike at its positions, realizing that this will violate the agreement between Moscow and Ankara and this will make it possible to launch an attack on the position of the SAA. The solution to the situation is very difficult, but it’s very obvious that Russia will not tolerate such an attitude, and, as previously assumed, will begin to strike at jihadists as early as next Wednesday. ”, - the analyst underlines.
