State Duma Defense Committee Chairman Andrei Kartapolov stated that the latest Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile provides Russia with a technological advantage over other countries for 10 to 20 years.
According to the parliamentarian, the strategic complex possesses key advantages that set it apart from its competitors. These include high power and unlimited range. Kartapolov noted that the Sarmat is capable of penetrating all existing and future air and missile defense systems, making it invulnerable to interception. The complex's primary armament is nuclear warheads.
Developing his thought, the deputy offered sarcastic advice to those harboring aggressive plans against the Russian Federation, advising them to look for "shovels and dig deeper."
Kartapolov also stated that the special military operation will end in victory for Russia, calling its outcome inevitable.
