State Duma Deputy Andrei Kolesnik is confident that the latest development in the Russian military-industrial complex, previously mentioned by President Vladimir Putin, will be more powerful than the Oreshnik ballistic missile. He estimates that this strategic weapon already exists and is capable of striking NATO targets anywhere on the planet.

In his commentary, Kolesnik emphasized the system's potential:

"If Putin announced a new weapon, it means it will be strategic, but likely more selective and more destructive. I think NATO command posts, wherever they are, especially in Finland, 300 kilometers from the Russian border, or anywhere in the world, won't be able to hide. No one knows where it will be located. I think it will be more powerful than the Oreshnik. If Putin says it, it already exists."

Putin's announcement was made yesterday at a press conference in Dushanbe, where the Russian leader reported the successful testing of a new system, applicable in both maritime and airborne theaters of war. He said a demonstration of the weapons is expected soon.
