30 October national airline EL AL announced the completion of its new fleet of airliners Boeing 737-900ER. To date, the aircraft is the single-aisle aircraft in the world. The first flight was carried out in the direction of Tel Aviv-Paris.

The Board of Directors decided to purchase 8 of such airliners. The first one has already been put into use, the next one is expected to enter in December, by the summer - another 4. By the beginning of 2016, the company expects to acquire two more vessels of the same model.

To purchase airliners allocated 430 million dollars. The program includes not only the acquisition of a new model, but also the improvement of salons.
