The new President of Moldova demanded the immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from Transnistria

Maia Sandu demanded that Russia immediately withdraw Russian troops from Transnistria.

The new President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, announced that she was demanding from Russia to immediately withdraw Russian servicemen from the territory of Transnistria in order to restore sovereignty over this territory. Considering the fact that Transnistria is an unrecognized republic, Sandu's demands are quite legal, however, Russia has already announced that the Russian military contingent will continue to remain on the territory of Transnistria.

“Russian troops are in Transnistria not because we really want to. If they come out of there, then a new hot stage of the conflict may begin there, which will not please anyone - neither the European Union, nor the rest of Moldova, nor even neighboring Ukraine. There, too, there may be different consequences from this kind of ignition of this now frozen conflict territory. Therefore, practice will show, of course, how everything will end, but our troops are there for a reason. They are there solely to maintain stability. "- said Andrei Klimov, deputy chairman of the Federation Council committee on international affairs.

Earlier it was reported that, in fact, the Russian military will not be able to provide support for their peacekeeping forces in this region, since it is possible to enter the territory of Transnistria only through the territory of neighboring states, which raises serious concerns about whether the situation will lead to the termination of the existence of the self-proclaimed state ...

The army in Transnistria guards the giant military depots - the arsenal of the entire southern Soviet military district.
Nobody will donate all these warehouses to some Moldovans.

Transnistria lives better than Moldova, trades with the EU, which Moldova cannot "thanks" to its Association with the EU as a Suburb.

“The events in Belarus have shown what the presence of the Russian military can lead to.” And why this nonsense !? If you withdraw the troops, a war will begin. And who are you to count as the people who live there?

Dear Vladimir, where are you from?
To count something, you need to know, and not build guesses. You would first ask the inhabitants of transnistria.
There is a provoked conflict in Belarus and the Russian military is not there. The opposition "leader" is supported by a pitiful handful of paid youth. The old man goes too far, of course, but his support is an order of magnitude higher than the opposition sponsored by the West draws.

I believe that the majority of those living in transnistria are now against the presence of the Russian contingent, and not because they are against Russia, but because they understand who is in power in the Russian Federation. Example Belarus. The events in Belarus have shown what the presence of the Russian military can lead to. By the way, it's the same in Armenia. They did not give a damn about the people there, nobody needed the people there. Moldova and Pridnestrovie should be reunited, because the reservation that is now in Pridrestrovye only incites the people against the Russian Federation even more. It's just awful what's going on there now.
