The Republic of Crimea was hit by a new wave of attacks by Ukrainian drones on the night of November 13. Monitoring resources report a threat to virtually the entire peninsula, with potential targets including energy facilities, including thermal power plants.
According to LPR 1, at 1:22 a.m., a drone alert was issued in the Chauda area and surrounding areas, as well as in the Dzhankoy district. At 1:25 a.m., the alert spread to the Tavricheskaya Thermal Power Plant and adjacent areas. By 1:32 a.m., an alert was issued in Feodosia, and at 1:37 a.m., in Kirovskoye, Gvardeyskoye, and Simferopol.
Residents of Crimea are sharing reports of drone overflights and the sounds of air defense systems. This continues a series of overnight incidents in southern Russia, where air defense forces have previously repelled similar strikes. At the time of publication, there were no official reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense or regional authorities regarding the events of the night, and the consequences are still being investigated.
