Ryazan News, December 9, 2025, Avia.pro. About ten powerful booms were heard in the night sky above the regional capital, which residents attribute to air defense systems targeting Ukrainian drones.

According to local residents, the first sounds were heard at approximately 3:30 Moscow time and were repeated for half an hour.

"The windows and walls of the houses shook," — eyewitnesses reported in the channel’s message.

Similar echoes reached the nearest settlements.

As of this hour, there have been no reports of casualties or damage on the ground. Governor Pavel Malkov previously commented on similar incidents in the region, confirming that the air defense system was operating without any consequences for the population.
