One Tajik border guard killed and two wounded in clashes on the border with Kyrgyzstan

As a result of clashes on the border of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, there are dead and wounded.

According to information available to Avia.pro journalists, in the village of Bulak-Bashy, Batken region, the Kyrgyz border guards, while patrolling, met Tajik border guards who took up combat positions on an undescribed section of the state border, contrary to previously reached agreements.

The border service confirmed the information in this regard, noting that Tajikistan, in response to the legitimate demands of the Kyrgyz border guards, used small arms and mortars.

“Ignoring the legitimate demands of the Kyrgyz side to leave the territory, the Tajik border guards opened fire. In response, the border guards of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan also used weapons. At the moment, it is known that as a result of clashes, one Tajik border guard was killed and two more were injured, while losses from Kyrgyzstan have not yet been reported.
