An American military base in Syria came under heavy rocket fire.

Contrary to a statement from the United States that American military installations in Syria were not attacked, a video was published in which you can see how several missiles fired at an American military base successfully hit targets on the site.

The video footage shows the first moments after the shelling of an American military facility located near the Umar oil field. Judging by the explosions and the beginning of the fire, the damage caused to the US military base is quite serious. At the moment, it remains unknown who exactly was behind the attack, since it can be both pro-Iranian formations and terrorists of the "Islamic State" (a terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation - ed.).

It should be noted that the US military is regularly attacked in Syria. The command of the American military group does not always recognize attacks on their military bases, since this may serve as a pretext for the withdrawal of the US military from the territory of the Arab republic.

It is not known whether there were any casualties as a result of the rocket attack.
